In early March I received an email from the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ) informing me that I have been awarded Honours at the Licentiate level based on the submission of 10 images I prepared earlier in the year. The portfolio submission had to demonstrate a general photographic craft and skill. A key factor for success was the way in which the portfolio was put together and how the images link or flow from each other. This could be through colours, shapes, lines, texture, subject matter etc. This was my first time at trying to put together a series of images that worked together.
