I often struggle to get out of bed to catch the sunrise, however, when I do I am always rewarded. On this morning, at my local beach, the light was subtle and infused everything. I used a 10 stop ND filter to smooth out the sea which also created the streaky clouds.

This image embodies many of the emotions that I have when shooting at sunrise. It is such a privilege to be able to witness these moments and start the day with a sense of calm, awe and positivity.
